Winter is here, and while some folks are cozying up by the fire, we know you’re braving the cold to perfect your game (or at least trying to keep your ball out of the icy rough). With that in mind, we’re adjusting our pro shop hours to serve you better and keep things efficient—because there are only so many times we can polish the bar tops or clean the windows before we start questioning reality.
Winter Hours Update
Here’s the scoop: The pro shop will now open on days above 35°F or higher only when we have at least six golfers on the tee sheet. Why six? That’s just enough to justify unlocking the doors without turning us into professional counter-polishers. Previously, we aimed to stay open whenever it hit 35°F or higher, but we often had 1-2 morning golfers and another in the afternoon. While we love seeing your faces, we want to make sure our staff’s time is used wisely (and not just for achieving mirror-like shine on the tables).
How You Can Help Keep You Swinging
- Book Your Tee Time Early: The more golfers on the tee sheet, the more we can focus on your game instead of counting how many times we’ve wiped the same spot.
- Leave Us a Message: Call us with any questions, and we’ll check messages twice daily.
- Book or Cancel Online: Easily reserve or adjust your tee times through our website.
Why We’re Doing This
Our part-time, semi-retired staff loves being here for you, but when the course is quiet, they’re left polishing tabletops and pondering life’s mysteries. By aligning our hours with demand, we ensure great service when you need us—and sanity for the staff when you don’t. So, bundle up, plan your rounds, and let’s make the most of winter golf!
